..Munch munch munch!! Its Choco chip time!

Mungkin tajuk entri ini adalah paling panjang ntuk tahun ini. So today I made this. You really should try this at home sebab ia adalah sangat sedaaaaaaaaaaap dan senaaaaaaaaaaaang. Sambil makan pon boleh buat, serius.

Nama: Chocolate chip cookie

Resipi: Oh sila rujuk di bawah.


Ingredients:
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (105 grams) light brown sugar
1/4 cup (50 grams) white granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (130 grams) all purpose flour
1/4 cup (30 grams) Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups (260 grams) white chocolate chips or chunks

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (177 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In the bowl of your electric mixer (or with a hand mixer), beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).  Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until incorporated. First sift together the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt and then add to the butter and egg mixture.  Mix just until incorporated.  Fold in the the chocolate chips.

Using a small ice cream scoop or two spoons, place about 1 1/2 tablespoons of batter on the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches (5 cm) apart.

Bake for approximately 8 - 10 minutes or until the the cookies are still soft in the center but are firm around the edges.  Remove from oven and let cookies cool on baking sheet for about 5 minutes before removing the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

Oh jangan ditanya kenapa ada 2 je biskut tu. *Yang lain tak dapat diselamatkan daripada menjadi mangsa enzymes2 perut syafiqah. Huu.*

Satu tips penting for this recipe: waktu anda anda dan anda semua shape the cookie dan letak kat atas dulang yang bakal dimasukkan dalam oven, make sure jarak dia adalah tersangat jauh cos later on dia akan kembang sekembang kembangnya. And one more thing, never forget to use nonstick spray or any other method yang akan mengelakkan biskut tuh melekat kat dulang.

Perasaan pelik. Rasa happy but in the meantime rasa sedih waktu tengok gambar cousins aku yang berdua itu. We were so close when we were little girls tapi sekarang, masing masing dah ada hidup sendiri. Hala tuju sendiri. Semalam kak D kahwin. Gambar dah upload sikit kat facebook. Dah ada tanggungjawab masing masing. I hope everything about us won't change. How I wish adults don't have to create such barrier ya know. aku memang gedik!

Woha. I'm home and gosh super duper happy! Happier than pegi ice skating iteww. Puhleassse, 'itew'? WTH. Pi masuk tadika balik. Eja itu pon tak reti ke afi woi? Wakaka. ..babies and me

Dah seminggu aku dalam mood bayi. Heheh. Mane mane aku pegi dalam otak aku mesti de image babies kat hpj tu. Aku rasa minggu ni adalah minggu yang paling bermakna sepanjang aku bergelar medical student. Tak pernah aku rasa bersemangat macam minggu ni. Weehu. I tell you what, paeds posting shall be the best posting in list. I just love those tiny lil creatures. Hari hari kat ward asik senyum je, sampai naik lenguh pipi aku ni. Huehue. I seriously in love with them! And my very first patient for this posting is hafiz, a veryyy cute lil baby who got meningitis. Poor him. Please pray that nothing will go wrong and his condition will be better as days go on. He's such an .. angel. Syndrome terbaru contracting us now is Toys Syndrome.
